Launching the New Islamic Center Building of Rolla Missouri
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Assalam alaikum wa rahmatullah
It is a great pleasure to announce to the Muslim community of Rolla and supporters around the world that the construction of the new Islamic Center building of Rolla Missouri has been launched today Friday the 4th of Shaban 1431 (July 16th, 2010). The excavation of the construction site was started at 10:00 a.m. and is currently underway.
On behalf of the Muslim community of Rolla, we want to thank everyone who worked, supported, and continue to support this project. Many people from various regions and countries around the world supported this project and made significant contributions. On this historic day, we want to acknowledge and appreciate their contributions. Your continued support is critical and much appreciated. May Allah SWT help us to achieve our goal of completing this project.

Assalam alaikum wa rahmatullah
The chart below depicts a schematic for the men (top) and women (besides the "Women lounge") prayer areas and the adjacent facilities (women lounge and conference room) of the new Islamic Center building of Rolla Missouri currently under construction. The men and women areas are divided into 140 and 70 spots respectively. Each spot is approximately 8 ft2 and sufficient for one person to pray. We estimate the construction cost per spot is $1000. If you wish to donate funds to cover the cost for a spot or more, please identify the spot numbers (in the men and/or women areas) you want to donate funds for and use the contact information provided on the chart to pledge/make your donation.
