THE GREAT WOMAN OF MANKIND
Introduction
Reflect upon the story of Mary, the great mother of Jesus Christ. The narration in Surat Maryam (one chapter from the Noble Qur’an named after her name) that discussed her affair is indeed mesmerizing. No book in the history of the world provides a more beautiful feeling about the greatness of the Virgin Mary than the Noble Qur’an, the Last Revelation of the One True God that He entrusted to His last messenger and prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Who else can provide a more beautiful narration than the only God who is most Powerful of all! He is all Aware with Complete Knowledge. Any reader, whether Muslim or Christian, with all certainty will not doubt the honor bestowed by the Almighty Creator (Allaah) to Mary - the woman that came from the descendants of prophets.
The family (lineage) of Mary
Mary came from the family of the prophets. Her parents were Imran and Hannah Bint Faqudh. Allaah, the Almighty, said: “Indeed, Allaah chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of Imran over the worlds. Descendants, some of them from others. And Allaah is Hearing and Knowing.” (Qur’an 3:33-34)

Can we find an explanation to this great universe? Is there any convincing interpretation to the secret of existence? We realize that no family can function properly without a responsible head, that no city can prosperously exist without sound administration, and that no state can survive without a leader of some kind. We also realize that nothing comes into being on its own. Moreover, we observe that the universe exists and functions in the most orderly manner, and that it has survived for millions and millions of years. Can we, then, say that all this is accidental? Can we attribute the existence of man and the whole world to mere chance?
Man represents only a very small portion of the immense universe. And if he can make plans and appreciate the merits of planning, then his own existence and the survival of the universe must also be based on a planned policy. This means that there is a designing will behind our material existence, and that there is an extraordinary power to bring things into being and keep them moving in order.
In the world, then, there must be a great force in action to keep everything in harmony. In exquisite nature, there must be a great creator who fashions the most charming pieces of art and produces everything for a special purpose in life. The deeply enlightened people recognize this creator and call him God, or "Allaah". He is not a man because no man can create or make another man. He is neither an idol nor is He a statue of any kind because none of these things can make itself or create anything else. He is different from all of these things, because He is the maker and keeper of them all. The maker of anything must bedifferent from and greater than the things that he makes.

By Shaykh Saalih ibn al-Fawzaan
An explanation of a hadeeth on the adab of eating. A look into the harms that can arise from overeating and how it can effect a person’s religion and health
Thus, it is incumbent upon an individual to take heed of this prophetic moral and to not be excessive when it comes to eating or his desires. In addition to this, if a person reaches a point where he is extremely greedy regarding food then it is likely that the halaal will not suffice him, hence he will set out seeking the haraam so he can fulfill his (evil) cravings.

In the name of Allaah, the Most Beneficent, Bestower of Mercy, Hadeeth #1476: On the authority of al-Miqdaam ibn Ma'deekarib, radiyallaahu 'anhu, who said: The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: "No child of Aadam ever filled a vessel more destructive than his stomach."1

By Shaykh Saalih Ibn Fawzaan al-Fawzaan A look into the arrangement of the Pillars of Eemaan and the hikmah, wisdom, that exist within their ordering.
Then comes the mention of belief in the Angels and Messengers because they are the mediators between Allaah and His creation regarding the conveyance of His messages. Thus, the Angels descend with the revelation (from Allaah) and bring it to the Messengers and the Messengers convey it to the people.

There is wisdom behind - and Allaah knows best- the arrangement of the pillars of Eemaan in the verses of the Qur’aan and the ahaadeeth, although the waaw (و) doesn't exactly necessitate arrangement:
The pillars of Eemaan have begun with belief in Allaah because it is absolutely the foundation and (all) the other pillars aside from it come in succession to it.
