The Islamic Center of Rolla Missouri (ICRM) is the only mosque within 60 miles, the closest mosque being in Jefferson City , an hour drive from Rolla. Other mosques are located in Springfield and St. Louis which are more than 60 miles from Rolla. ICRM serves the Muslim communities in St. James , Cuba , St. Roberts, Waynesville , Lebanon , Fort Leonard Wood (biggest US Army Training base in the US ) and other cities close by. ICRM also serves the Muslim students from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri , Rolla or UMR) for many Islamic countries.
